The Wirral Society have a number of member-only annual events including: Victor Smith Memorial Lectures, Annual General Meeting (AGM), Summer Meeting. Admission is free to Members and their guests but by ticket only.

- W. Victor Smith Lecture: 'Transition Towns: a community response to climate change & peak oil'
- Speaker: Patrick Cleary
- Tuesday 8 March, Wallasey Golf Club, 7:00pm
- Annual General Meeting followed by W. Victor Smith Lecture: 'Social Housing and some significant historic projects in Wirral'
- Speaker: Professor John Tarn, OBE, DL
- SUMMER MEETING, Saturday 9 July 2011
- Visit to Hawarden to see St. Deniols Library and Church.
- Guided Tour arranged for 2pm, optional lunch at St. Deniols coffee shop from 12 noon.
- Tuesday 18 October, Heatherlands Court Restaurant, Irby, 6:30pm for 7:00pm
- HOT POT SUPPER, followed by W. Victor Smith Lecture: '100th Anniversary of the Death of John Douglas, Architect'
